Insecure is set to return for a fifth season on HBO, the premium cable network announced Friday.
The Issa Rae-led series is currently three episodes into its fourth season, which premiered last month.
“We’re thrilled that Issa, Prentice [Penny], and the whole Insecure team will be getting back together for a fifth season,” HBO Programming executive vp Amy Gravitt said in a statement. “As we laugh and cringe with recognition, their stories make us all feel a little less alone in the world.”
