Idris Elba has been cast in the upcoming Netflix film The Harder They Fall, the streaming giant announced Monday.
Elba will appear in the all-black Western alongside Jonathan Majors (Da 5 Bloods, The Last Black Man in San Francisco).
The film follows outlaw Nat Love (Majors), who discovers the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades ago is being released from prison. Nat reunites with his old gang to track his enemy down and seek revenge.

Jeymes Samuel will direct and co-write the script with Boaz Yakin. Jay-Z, James Lassiter, Lawrence Bender and Samuel are producers.
British musician Samuel, who is also known as singer-songwriter The Bullitts, previously collaborated with Jay-Z on The Great Gatsby soundtrack. The two plan to write and produce original music for The Harder They Fall.
Elba won a SAG award for his role in the 2015 Netflix war drama, Beasts of No Nation.
