Sean “Diddy” Combs says The Four: Battle For Stardom isn’t just a singing competition, it’s “the biggest show on TV.”
The hip-hop mogul, who serves as a judge and producer on the Fox series, took to Instagram Thursday to remind fans that the season 2 premiere was just hours away.
“THE BIGGEST SHOW ON TV IS BACK! It’s time to make some history! Let’s goooooooo!!!!!” he wrote.

DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor are returning to the judges’ table with Diddy. But record executive Charlie Walk exited last season amid a sexual harassment scandal not related to the show, and won’t be returning.

Fergie will resume her hosting duties.
The Four, which Fox touts as more hip than American Idol and The Voice, starts with four finalists chosen from auditions, who are forced to defend their spots against “hungry newcomers” each week.
Diddy loves to tell the competitors: “It’s time to eat!”
During the first season earlier this year, all four original performers were ousted early on. Tennessee native, Evvie McKinney, ultimately won the competition.
This season, the group of four is made up of Carvena Jones of Jackson, Mississippi; James Graham of Essex, England; Stephnie Zelaya of Guatemala City, Guatemala and Sharaya J. of Atlanta.
Sharaya told the Atlanta Journal Constitution she watched the first season and figured out what it takes to stay in the competition.
“You have to connect with the people when you get on that stage and own it,” she said. “I am a dancer and a showman. I will bring all these aspects of myself on that stage”
We’ll have to see if her strategy pays off.
Season 2 of The Four premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox.
