Diana Ross Set to Perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Diana Ross is one of the famous faces who will perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, Nov. 22.

The music icon will perform a song from her new Christmas album at the 92nd annual parade, while two of her children — Tracee Ellis Ross, 46, and Evan Ross, 30 —  will join her on the float.

Other high-profile musicians include John Legend, who just released his own Christmas album, A Legendary Christmas.

Martina McBride, Pentatonix, Rita Ora, Sugarland, Anika Noni Rose, Kane Brown, and Bad Bunny will also participate.

In 2017, Gwen Stefani headlined the event with a rendition of White Christmas, while a long list of celebrities — including Patti LaBelle and Whoopi Goldberg — rode the parade floats.

More than 3.5 people million people attend the parade in NYC annually, with countless viewers tuning into NBC each year to watch the live show.

In 2016, NBC drew in a whopping 24.639 million viewers and scored a 6.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to The Wrap. The impressive stats marked the show’s highest ratings in 13 years.

This year’s parade will air at 9am ET on NBC’s Today show.
