The special titled Colin Jost & Michael Che Present: New York After Dark is set to stream on Thursday, Sept. 12, from The Bell House in Brooklyn.

The special is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studios, 7F Project, No Notes Productions, Magic Lemonade.

Rikki Hughes is showrunner and is an executive producer alongside Colin Jost, Michael Che, Jeff Grosvenor, Emily Hason, and Rachael Edwards.

The 60-minute special streams live on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at 9PM ET/6PM PT on Peacock.

The event comes ahead of season 50 of Saturday Night Live, which premieres Sept. 28 on NBC.

As previously reported, SNL alum Maya Rudolph will return to play Vice President Kamala Harris during the election season.

Rudolph first played the vice president in December 2019 and won the 2020 Emmy Award for guest actress in a comedy series for her role as Harris in a presidential debate.

The comedian coined the term FUNT (America’s Fun Aunt) on SNL to describe Harris.

Rudolph first became a member of the NBC sketch comedy series in 2000. She has also appeared in film roles including Sisters, Life of the Party, and Disenchanted, and had voice roles in the animated films including Big Hero 6, The Angry Birds Movie and Luca.
