Fresh off of winning the top film prize at the SAG Awards, Black Panther is set to make a return to the big screen.
Disney announced Monday it’s bringing the Marvel hit back to theaters for one week in honor of Black History Month, and the screenings will be free.

The film will be shown twice a day from Feb. 1 to Feb. 7 at AMC locations across the country. Disney also said it will give a $1.5 million grant to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), to help more students pay for college.
“Black Panther is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success,” Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger said in a statement announcing the screenings. “The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of ‘Black Panther’ in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences.”

Black Panther caused a frenzy at the box office when it was released last February, and went on to become the top grossing domestic film of 2018. It was also a huge hit around the globe, and earned more than $1.3 billion worldwide.
The Wakanda saga was the first Marvel movie to feature a predominantly black cast, and it’s the first superhero film to be nominated for a best picture Academy Award. The blockbuster is nominated for a total of seven Oscars.
Moviegoers can attend the free screenings at 250 AMC locations, including theaters in Iowa, Oklahoma, North Carolina and New York.
