‘Black Panther’ Heads to Netflix in September

In a matter of days, Black Panther fans will be able to “Wakanda and chill.”

The Disney-Marvel Studios title will be available on Netflix starting S??t. 4th, the streaming giant announced this week.

Black Panther and A Wrinkle in Time – which begins streaming Sept. 25 –  w?ll b? ?m?ng th? l??t Disney f?lm? available on the platform. The studio is preparing to launch its own streaming service next year for Disney, Marvel and Star Wars titles.

The Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther arrived in theaters on February 16. The Wakanda adventure ended ?t? th??tr???l run ?? just th? th?rd m?v?? ?n h??t?r? t? m?k? m?r? th?n $700 m?ll??n at th? d?m??t?? box office. Worldwide, the film has grossed over $1.3 b?ll??n.

Black Panther continued to set r???rd? throughout ?t? box-?ff??? run, starting w?th ?t? $202 m?ll??n Pr???d?nt’? Day w??k?nd ???n?ng. That marked the biggest three-day February debut ever. Deadpool previously held the record with $132 million.
