‘Black Love’ Season 3 Premiere Date And Celebrity Couples Announced

Black Love is set to return to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in August with new love stories and a new group of celebrity couples.

Season 3 will feature Terry Crews & Rebecca Crews, LeToya Luckett & Tommicus Walker, David Mann & Tamela Mann, Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker, Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson, as well as couples from all walks of life.

The docuseries comes from filmmakers and real-life couple Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver and Confluential Films. It highlights love stories from the Black community while seeking to answer the burning question, “What does it take to make a marriage work?”

The series premiered in 2017, and has previously featured Sterling K. Brown and wife Ryan Michelle Bathe, Tina Knowles-Lawson and husband Richard Lawson, D.L. Hughley and Ladonna Hughley, among others.

Last season the show ranked number one in its Saturday night time slot across broadcast and cable with African-American women ages 25-54 and 18-49.

In September 2018, the Olivers launched Blacklove.com, a digital destination with content created specifically for the Black community, with an eye toward fostering dialogue on dating, health and sexuality, marriage, parenting, self-love and men’s lifestyle.

Season 3 of Black Love premieres on Saturday, August 10 at 9 p.m.
