Season 10 of BET’s popular gospel singing competition Sunday Best is premiering on Sunday, July 5, and now the network has revealed the names of its top 20 contestants
BET released details about the top 20 on Friday — their names are as follows:

- Niiella Coffie – London, England
- Edward “Busta” Fields – Philadelphia, PA
- Jada Spight – Buffalo, NY
- Jamal Roberts – Meridian, MS
- John Houston Smith – Detroit, MI
- Kay Racquel – Baton Rouge, LA
- Lonnie Banks – Charlotte, NC
- MarQuis Harris – Emporia, VA
- Mikaela Brown – Austell, GA
- Nicole Gregory – Kansas City, MO
- O’Livya Walker – Millington, TN
- Roman Collins – Hawthorne, CA
- Stephanie Summers – Colorado Springs, CO
- Sterlin Hill – Greenwood, SC
- Takira Rogers – Robbins, IL
- Tonyce Hollis – Toledo, Ohio
- Tyree Miller – Philadelphia, PA
- Veronica Stephens – Groveland, FL
The contestants will have to put their skills to the test to compete for the title of “Sunday Best,” which comes with a recording contract via RCA Inspiration and a cash prize of $50,000.

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the first few episodes of the new season were filmed in Atlanta at Tyler Perry Studios with a live audience. As Urban Hollywood 411 previously reported, the show will use “new and innovative technology, techniques and artist-generated content” to complete production on episodes four through eight, BET announced.
Grammy-winning gospel legend Kirk Franklin returns as host of season 10, along with judges Erica Campbell; songstress and host of Get Up Mornings Kelly Price; and Jonathan McReynolds, who stars on BET’s American Soul and is a Stellar award-winning recording artist.
Sunday Best is set to premiere on Sunday, July 5, at 8/7c on BET.
