Jamie Foxx has been tapped to host the 2018 BET Awards.
BET announced the news Tuesday, saying it had enlisted the Academy Award-winning actor, singer and comedian to host the show next month.
Foxx also shared the news on Instagram, telling his followers: “This year’s Bet Awards are gonna be a party and celebration all in one cuz your boy is hosting and I’m #backonmyfunnyshit so get ready!!!!”
Foxx is no stranger to the BET Awards, having previously hosted in 2009.
He also brought lots of laughs to the show last year when he stepped on stage to present an award and was asked to fill time.

Foxx riffed for several minutes, making fun of the audience, a few children he brought on stage and one of his recent, un-named movies that he admitted was a stinker.
Among this years BET Awards nominees are DJ Khaled with six nods and Kendrick Lamar with five.
The show will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 24.
