The Bad Boys franchise launched in 1995, followed by a sequel in 2003. Both films starred Lawrence and Smith as Miami detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.
Now after years of delays, Lowrey and Burnett are finally returning to action.
Production on the Sony Pictures action comedy is set to start early next year with Belgian directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall tapped to helm the film.
Bad Boys For Life will hit theaters in 2020.
