Babyface and Brandy are among the list of performers at the 2020 Soul Train Awards presented by BET.
Also included in the show’s musical lineup are CeeLo Green, Charlie Wilson, Ella Mai, Jazmine Sullivan, Lucky Daye, and Smokey Robinson. There will additionally be appearances by Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri and Brandee Evans, BET said in a press release.
R&B singer Monica will receive the sixth annual Lady of Soul Award for her musical, philanthropic and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

“The Boy is Mine” singer, who won a Grammy Award with Brandy for the chart-topping duet, has been in the music industry since she released her debut album “Miss Thang” in 1995. Monica was first discovered at age 11 by music producer Dallas Austin in Atlanta.
As for the nominees, H.E.R. leads with 8 nominations, followed by Chris Brown with 7 nods.
Best friend duo actresses, singers and writers Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold will host the awards for the third time.
The 2020 Soul Train Awards presented by BET will be simulcast on BET, BET Her, VH1 and MTV2 at 8 PM EST on Nov. 29. The night begins with a one-hour pre-show titled “Soul-Coming: Countdown to the Soul Train Awards” hosted by Flex Alexander and Shanice, starting at 7 PM EST.
Internationally, the show will simulcast on BET Africa on Nov. 29, 2020, at 3:00AM CAT; BET France on Dec. 1, 2020 at 9:50PM CET; and BET UK and BET South Korea on Dec. 2, 2020 at 9:00PM GMT and 9:00PM KST, respectively.
