Fox has tapped Anthony Anderson and his mother Doris Bowman to host the upcoming game show We Are Family.

The series premieres on the network Jan. 3, and will feature non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member.

The celebrities appearing on the show will include musicians, professional athletes, actors, and other pop culture influencers.

“I jumped at the opportunity to host We Are Family and can’t wait for you to see all the celebrities, their relatives and the many surprises we have in store this season – and with my mama by my side, you never know what’s going to happen!” Anderson said in a press release from the network.

There will be a studio audience of 100 contestants trying to guess through multiple rounds which celebrity the on-stage performer is related to. The winning contestant will earn $100,000.

In a teaser for the game show, the Black-ish actor says, “That’s my mama.” While in another clip, his mother says she has no clue who the performer on-stage could be.

The mother-and-son duo take over for Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corrinne were previously announced as hosts of the game show. The two reportedly dropped out due to a scheduling conflict.

Foxx will continue to be an executive producer of the show in addition to Jeff Apploff and Joni Day.

The series is co-produced by FOX’s in-house unscripted studio, FOX Alternative Entertainment, which created the program, and Apploff Entertainment. Matilda Zoltowski is the showrunner and an executive producer on the series.

“Mama Doris” as she is affectionately known, has previously teamed up with her son on shows including To Tell The Truth and Trippin’ with Anthony Anderson and Mama Doris. Bowman has also appeared on Black-ish and House Haunters.
