Angela Rye to Host Quibi Docuseries Spotlighting Women Creating Change

Quibi has announced Angela Rye will host a new five-part docuseries titled All Her With Angela Rye, that follows women in the U.S. creating change with their voices and actions.

According to the official announcement: “All Her with Angela Rye is a groundbreaking five-part docuseries that shines a light on incredible, everyday women across the country that are standing up and speaking out against injustice in all its forms. As each woman shares her story, we will come to understand the history that can be made when we each do our part to tackle what needs changing in our world today.”

Rye is an attorney and political commentator on CNN, who calls herself a “truth bringer.” She currently hosts the weekly podcast “On One with Angela Rye.”

Her new series will combine her passions with bringing marginalized stories to the forefront of the media landscape.

The show will double as an interview series as well as a call-to-action for viewers. The hope is to bring much needed reform and inform the audience about how to engage and bring about real change for the future of this country.

All Her With Angela Rye comes from Participant’s SoulPancake, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment and 206 Productions.

Executive producers include SoulPancake’s Golriz Lucina, Overbrook’s James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, and Clarence Hammond. Rye will also serve as an EP alongside Mikael Moore under the 206 Productions banner. Ahmadou Seck and Hakeem Allen are also co-producers on the project.
