BET has added more performers to its upcoming Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort special.
Alicia Keys will perform a tribute to New York City, the cable network announced Monday. Other artists set to turn in virtual performances include John Legend, Usher, Jhené Aiko, Chloe X Halle, CeeLo Green, H.E.R., Ella Mai, Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris, Swae Lee, Anthony Hamilton, Tyrese Gibson, Buju Banton, DJ D-Nice, SiR, and D Smoke.
Kirk Franklin, Fantasia, and Charlie Wilson are among previously announced performers. Franklin will lead a gospel set with Fantasia, Jonathan McReynolds, Kelly Price, Tasha Cobbs, Le’Andria Johnson, and Melvin Crispell III.

Also appearing will be Tiffany Haddish, Ciara, Don Cheadle, Deon Cole, Angela Rye, Dr. Rheeda Walker, Charlamagne Tha God, Symone D. Sanders, DJ Khaled and Chance The Rapper.
The goal of the two-hour broadcast is to offer viewers information and to raise funds for organizations providing help and support for African-American communities severely impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
Hosted by Kelly Rowland, Regina Hall, Anthony Anderson and TV personality Terrence J, the special will also address the impact of coronavirus outside the U.S.
BET Breaks International talent Nomalanga (South Africa), Flora Coquerel (France), and Jourdan Riane (UK) will report on how the pandemic is affecting their countries. British hip hop artists behind the viral “Don’t Rush” social media challenge, Young T and Bugsy, and Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina Elba, will also make appearances.
Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort airs Wednesday, April 22 at 8 p.m. ET. The special is organized in partnership with the United Way, and will be simulcast on BET, BET Her, and BET International Channels, as well as Bounce.
Internationally, the show will be broadcast on Saturday, April 25 in the UK at 9:00 pm BST, Korea at 9:00 pm KST, Africa at 6:00 pm CAT, and France at 10:30 pm CEST.
