Abby Huntsman will soon bring her voice to The View.

ABC announced Tuesday the former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host will join Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain on the daytime talk show in September.

“I couldn’t be more excited to return to my professional roots at ABC News,” Huntsman, who interned for Diane Sawyer and later worked at ABC as a political commentator, said in a statement. “I look forward to adding my own point of view to the most interesting and successful talk show on television today. Joining the women at ‘The View’ really is a dream come true!”

Huntsman, 32, is the daughter of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. (R), who currently serves as U.S. ambassador to Russia.

She will replace Sara Haines, who is joining the third hour of Good Morning America alongside Michael Strahan.

Led by veteran journalist Barbara Walters, The View launched in 1997. Season 22 of the program premieres on Sept. 4.

  1. Have fun 🙂 I can’t stand her such a blatant opportunist. Another reason to watch FOX.
