Simone Missick Teases ‘All Rise’ Season 3 Theme and Premiere Date on OWN

All Rise is set to return to court this spring on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Series star Simone Missick made the announcement Tuesday in a video on the show’s Instagram page, saying the legal drama is heading back into production ahead of its move to OWN.

“Hello all you beautiful Risers out there and welcome to our new home on OWN,” she said. “I don’t think we would be here without our loyal fans and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are so extremely grateful and excited to be going back to filming which will be happening in the next few days for season 3, which will premiere right here on OWN starting in the spring.”

The actress then revealed the theme for the upcoming season.

“Just to share a little secret with you, the theme for season 3 will be — new beginnings!” she added. “How appropriate is that, because we are on our new home, right here on OWN.”

All Rise focuses on public defenders, judges and prosecutors as they fight for justice for the people of Los Angeles. Missick stars as idealistic Judge Lola Carmichael. The cast includes Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, Ruthie Ann Miles, and Lindsey Gort.

The drama premiered in September 2019, and aired for two seasons before CBS pulled the plug in May 2021. As previously reported, OWN resurrected the series and ordered a third season in September.

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Dee Harris-Lawrence is showrunner and executive producer. Series star Simone Missick will additionally serve as a co-executive producer for season three alongside Michael M. Robin and Len Goldstein.
