Roddy Ricch has pledged to help support the victims of Friday’s deadly crowd surge at the Astroworld Festival in Houston.

The “Late at Night” artist announced Saturday on his Instagram Stories that he plans to donate the proceeds from his Astroworld performance to those impacted by the tragedy, local NBC affiliate KPRC-TV reported.

“Please have the families of those who we lost reach out,” he wrote. “I’ll [be] donating my net compensation to the families of this incident.”

Lawsuits are already being filed by survivors of the crowd stampede, USA Today reports. Travis Scott, the rapper who founded the Astroworld Festival in 2018, is being sued, along with Drake who made a surprise appearance at the event, concert promoter Live Nation, organizer ScoreMore and others.

Famed civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump is representing one of the survivors.

“We are hearing horrific accounts of the terror and helplessness people experienced,” Crump said in a statement. “The horror of a crushing crowd and the awful trauma of watching people die while trying to save them.”

The tragedy unfolded Friday night, and eight people were killed, and dozens of others injured when a huge crowd surged toward the stage at the music festival causing panic and a stampede.

“People began to fall out, become unconscious, and it created additional panic,” Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña told reporters. “This was a tragic night.”

The tragedy occurred while rapper and festival founder Travis Scott was on stage around 9:15 p.m.

Scott posted a message Saturday night on Twitter expressing his sorrow.

“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival,” the rapper said.
