Craig Robinson Comedy ‘Killing It’ Rounds Out Main Cast

The new Craig Robinson Peacock series Killing It has lined up its main cast. 

Joining the comedian are Claudia O’Doherty, Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur, Stephanie Nogueras, Wyatt Walter, Jet Miller, the streamer said in a press release Monday. 

The comedy starring and executive produced by The Office alum follows one man’s quest to reach the American dream, while also commenting on class and capitalism. Robinson plays Craig, a man who thinks competing in a state-sponsored python hunt will help him achieve some of his life goals.

O’Doherty (Love, Trainwreck) will play Jillian, a down-on-her luck Uber driver who introduces Craig to the bizarre world of snake hunting. Battle (Black-ish, The Good Doctor) will play Isaiah, Craig’s younger brother. MacArthur (The Mick, Righteous Gemstones) portrays Brock, a rival snake hunter and aspiring social media star. Nogueras (The Good Fight, Switched at Birth) plays Camille, Craig’s ex-wife with whom he uneasily co-parents their pre-teen daughter, Vanessa (Miller), who cares about her father but hates snakes. Walter (Sons of Thunder) will play Corby, Brock’s teenage son and reluctant cameraman.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator Dan Goor and executive producer Luke Del Tredici are the co-showrunners, writers and executive producers of the series. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is producing the show. 

Mark Schulman and Mo Marable also executive produce Killing It, which has been ordered for 10 episodes by Peacock.

Production for the comedy series has already begun in New Orleans. A release date will be announced later.
