Singers Brandy, Chaka Khan, BeBe Winans and Darlene Love sat down for interviews about their time with the “I’m Every Woman” artist. ABC says the episode will also include interviews with producer Narada Michael Walden, musical director Michael Bearden, choreographer Savion Glover, and feature never-before-seen videos and interviews with Houston and Bobby Brown from the network’s archives.

Each episode will focus on a different celebrity,  with additional stars to be announced later.

The hour-long series is produced by the same team of ABC News programs 20/20 and Truth and Lies series. David Sloan is senior executive producer. Muriel Pearson is executive producer.

Superstar: Whitney Houston debuts Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
