Los Angeles radio personality Big Boy has unloaded on Lil Wayne for endorsing President Donald Trump.

After a newsreader finished a story Friday around 10:10 a.m. on Lil Wayne supporting Trump’s reelection bid, Big Boy said the “Lollipop” rapper is out of touch with Black America.

“That’s that slave mentality,” the Real 92.3 host said about the New Orleans hip-hop star.

The popular morning drive host’s comments came after Weezy, real name Dwayne Carter, shared a picture of himself with Trump earlier this week on Twitter, and seemingly endorsed POTUS just days before the election.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership,” Lil Wayne tweeted on Oct. 29. “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

The backlash was swift, with fans and prominent members of the Black community blasting the Grammy-winning rapper.

Big Boy said after making millions, Lil Wayne can no longer relate to most African Americans. He cited the rapper’s comments in a 2016 Nightline interview when he said the Black Lives Matter movement “ain’t got nothing to do with me.”

The radio personality then said Trump never meets with Black thought leaders. Instead he seeks out entertainers and rappers.

“Trump can’t name one Lil Wayne song. That’s why I say, he always meets with entertainers, comedians, rappers, this, that and the other,” Big Boy said. “But he’ll never get with somebody that knows how to talk that talk. He won’t get with somebody that’s in the opposition, or sit down with them — strong, strong Black leaders. He will not sit with them. You can have Lil Wayne. You can have him.”
