CBS said Wednesday the network has renewed 23 shows, including All Rise, S.W.A.T., and The Neighborhood for the 2020-2021 television season.

Some of the additional CBS series that received the greenlight to move forward include its most-watched shows such as Bluebloods, Young Sheldon, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, NCIS (and its spinoffs NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles).

Other network series that secured a renewed season include Bull, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., SEAL Team, Bob Hearts Abishola, The Unicorn, Mom, 60 Minutes, 48 Hours and Undercover Boss.

“Thanks to these exceptional shows, we’re going to win the current season by 1 million viewers,” said CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl in a statement. “Next year, we’ll have these strong returning series as our foundation … and Super Bowl LV too. It’s a well-balanced lineup across Entertainment, News and Sports that will put us in an incredibly stable position for 2020-2021.”

While much of the broadcaster’s lineup received renewals, a few other big-name series did not.

A CBS insider confirmed to TV Line that the freshman series that have been canceled and will not return for a second season include Carol’s Second Act, Tommy, Broke, and Matt LeBlanc’s Man With a Plan.

Normally, CBS announces its early renewals in March-April, but the current global pandemic along with the company’s recent Viacom merger explains why the decisions to renew were delayed.

On May 19, the network will officially unveil its fall schedule during a virtual presentation.
