Cruz shared the news with fans in a video on Twitter.

“I’m getting ready to embark on a new journey with E! Entertainment on a show called Pop of the Morning, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ever single weekday,” he said. “I’m excited for this new journey in life. I’m excited for you guys to see me in a different way. So just tune in with me!”

Cruz will host alongside Lilliana Vazquez and Scott Tweedie, who also recently joined the celebrity news channel.

As previously reported, E! ended production on its flagship show E! News in November. The nightly, hour-long show was moved to New York and relaunched today as a 30-minute morning show.

E! News was hosted by Jason Kennedy and Giuliana Rancic. Rancic continues with the network on a part-time basis hosting its Live from the Red Carpet programs. Kennedy now hosts a new series called In the Room, taking viewers inside celebrity homes for in-depth interviews and conversations about their latest projects.
