Nick Cannon is expanding his media empire with two new nationally-syndicated radio shows — Nick Cannon Radio and Nick Cannon Weekends.

The host-actor-producer is teaming up with Skyview Networks and Meruelo Media for the drive time and weekend shows that will be available to urban, R&B and hip-hop stations across the country.

“Nick is an influencer, whose connection with audiences makes him extremely attractive to advertisers and radio programmers alike,” Steve Jones, president and COO of Skyview Networks said in a statement on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Cannon shared the news with listeners Wednesday during Nick Cannon Mornings on Meruelo-owned Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106 (KPWR).

“I love connecting with Los Angeles every morning on Power 106. The response and support has been amazing and very special — the natural thing is to take it to the next level with a new nationally-syndicated daily drive time and weekend show,” he said.

Nick Cannon Radio will air during the afternoon drive on Mondays through Fridays, and Nick Cannon Weekends will run on Saturdays and Sundays. The shows will premiere on Jan. 27, 2020 and in February 2020, respectively. The programs will feature music, original comedy and conversations with pop culture influencers.

In addition to his radio work, Cannon hosts Fox singing competition The Masked Singer, the cable sketch comedy series Wild ‘n Out, and he recently inked a deal for a daytime TV talk show.
