Detective Axel Foley will soon return to duty.

Beverly Hills Cop 4 starring Eddie Murphy is officially a go thanks to a deal between Paramount Pictures and Netflix, giving the streaming giant license to develop the film, Variety reported Thursday.

Beverly Hills Cop was released in 1984 and starred Murphy as a Detroit cop who goes to Beverly Hills to solve his best friend’s murder.

The film was a big hit and made $316 million worldwide. In 1987, Beverly Hills Cop II was also a hit and brought in $300 million at the worldwide box office. The third film in 1994, wasn’t nearly as successful and only made about a third as much.

Paramount released all three previous films. The studio had planned to bring Beverly Hills Cop 4 to theaters in 2016, but the project was ultimately dropped.

Netflix has a strong relationship with Murphy and just released Dolemite is My Name in October. The critically-acclaimed biopic stars the comedian as movie producer and rap pioneer Rudy Ray Moore.

Murphy is also reportedly working on an undetermined number of standup specials with the streamer.

The busy comedian is set to host the holiday episode of Saturday Night Live on Dec. 21.
