Paramount Pictures canceled the red carpet premiere Monday for Terminator: Dark Fate amid the raging Getty fire in Los Angeles.
The premiere had been scheduled to take place this evening at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, but the studio released a statement saying the gathering would no longer be held.
“We will be donating food intended for the after-party to the American Red Cross, which is serving those affected by the fires,” the studio said in a statement to the media.
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who stars in the film, was among the residents forced to evacuate Monday morning when the fire broke out in the Sepulveda Pass.
“We evacuated safely at 3:30 this morning,” Schwarzenegger tweeted. “If you are in an evacuation zone, don’t screw around. Get out. Right now I am grateful for the best firefighters in the world, the true action heroes who charge into the danger to protect their fellow Californians.”
The film also stars Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, and Natalia Reyes.
The wind-whipped fire, one of several burning across the state, was first reported around 1:30 a.m. this morning, and is racing through the hills between the Sherman Oaks and Brentwood neighborhoods.

As previously reported, other celebrities forced to flee their homes included LeBron James and Holly Robinson Peete.
As of 5 p.m. Monday, the fire had consumed more than 618 acres, destroyed eight structures and forced thousands of residents to flee, according to a press release from the Los Angeles Fire Department. The blaze was only 5 percent contained.
The fire also prompted a full closure of the Southbound 405 Freeway from the 101 Freeway to Sunset Boulevard, causing a traffic nightmare for several hours.
