After repeated delays, Kanye West says his Jesus Is King album is coming out this Friday.
The rapper shared the news with fans late Sunday night on Twitter. He included an image in the tweet showing the album on vinyl, along with the caption: “Jesus Is King. Oct. 25th”

The record was originally scheduled for release on Friday, Sept. 27, but West apparently decided it wasn’t ready. He then pushed the release date to Sunday, Sept. 30, but still no album.
As the title would suggest, the disc is said to be religious-themed. The new release date coincides with the arrival of West’s accompanying IMAX film by the same name.
The movie, from British filmmaker Nick Knight, will be shown exclusively in IMAX theaters and will bring West’s famed “Sunday Service” to life.
A cryptic trailer for the film dropped last week, and showed a light at the end of a keyhole tunnel as gospel music played in the background. There was also a Bible verse from Mark 1:15 that read: “In the words of Jesus Christ, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel.’”
Jesus is King: A Kanye West Film and the album are both scheduled to arrive on Friday, Oct. 25.
