The Whitney Houston hologram tour is officially a go.
Houston’s estate and BASE Hologram announced the details on Tuesday, Sept. 17, saying the concert series will be called “An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour.”
“Whitney Houston was a talent beyond words, and her influence and artistry transcended all boundaries,” Brian Becker, chairman & CEO of BASE Entertainment and BASE Hologram said in a statement. “When she performed there was an unmatched level of charisma and emotion to it – that’s what we are going to bring to audiences.”
According to BASE, the tour will feature state of the art technology and digitally remastered arrangements of Houston’s biggest hits. The hologram will be backed by a live band, singers, and dancers, with famed choreographer Fatima Robinson hired to direct the production.
The late singer’s estate also shared details about the tour on Instagram.

Pat Houston, who manages the estate, announced in May that a hologram tour was in the works.
“Whitney is not with us but her music will live with us forever,” Pat said in a statement Tuesday. “We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram.”
