Libby Boyce has shared a tribute to her late son, Cameron Boyce, calling him her “compass” on the two-week anniversary of his death.
Libby took to Instagram on Saturday, July 20, to remember Cameron who died July 6.
She posted a black-and-white picture of Cameron wrapping his arm around her. “He is my compass,” she captioned the photo, along with a heart emoji.
Cameron died after being found unresponsive at his home in North Hollywood. He was 20 years old.
His dad, Victor Boyce, remembered the Disney Channel star in an Instagram post on July 10.
“I miss him terribly,” Victor wrote.
Last week the Boyce family released a statement saying Cameron’s “tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.”
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office completed his autopsy on July 8, but an official cause of death was “deferred pending further investigation.”
The actor was best known for starring in Disney Channel’s Descendants franchise as Carlos, Cruella de Vil’s son.
