An autopsy was performed Monday on Disney star Cameron Boyce, but the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has delayed releasing an official cause of death pending further investigation.
Boyce, 20, was found unresponsive Saturday, July 6, at his home in North Hollywood, Calif. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:35 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.
A family representative said in a statement over the weekend that the actor died following a seizure in his sleep, due to “an ongoing medical condition.”
The actor’s father, Victor Boyce, took to Twitter Monday to thank fans for their “love and support.”
“I’m overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received,” Victor wrote.
He added that the well wishes have helped “ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from.”
“I can’t thank you guys enough,” he said.

The young actor shot a series of roles in upcoming projects before his death, including as a series regular in HBO’s new coming-of-age comedy, Mrs. Fletcher, and the indie film Runt.
