Loretta Devine, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Richard Roundtree are teaming up for Family Reunion.
The Netflix comedy series centers on the ups and downs when you have several generations of family living under the same roof.
“With Cocoa and the kids moving back home, it’s black family magic,” Devine says in the trailer. “We’re one big happy family under one happy roof.”
The actress plays loving but strict family matriarch M’Dear alongside Mowry-Hardrict as mother of four Cocoa.
Roundtree, Anthony Alabi, Talia Jackson, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Cameron J. Wright and Jordyn Raya James round out the cast.
Netflix announced details on the series in October, saying it will feature “heartwarming stories” that will be told by all black writers. The series is created and executive produced by Meg DeLoatch (Fuller House, Eve).
Family Reunion premieres Wednesday, July 10 on Netflix.
