Celebrities are sharing their reactions to the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report examining Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election and whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice.

The redacted report, which was released to Congress and the general public on Thursday, found no collusion between Trump’s campaign and the Russians, but it didn’t exonerate Trump of obstruction.

“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment,” the report stated.

Some high-profile critics struggled to fathom how Mueller couldn’t conclusively say whether Trump tried to curtail the investigation into his campaign’s possible coordination with Russia, including actor-comedian D.L. Hughley.

“How the f–k is this not obstruction of justice?????” he tweeted.

Keep It host Ira Madison took the opportunity to roast Trump’s Republican defenders, stating: “The President of the United States is a f–king criminal and the Republican party could not give a damn. There’s not a single piece of moral fiber amongst any of them and you would do well to never let them forget it.”

Robert Mueller delivered 10 credible allegations of Trump’s obstructive behavior,” Rolling Stone writer Jamil Smith tweeted. “@YAppelbaum notes that the report is a referral for impeachment because that is the constitutional mechanism for resolving the situation. That is simply not up for argument.”

Journalist Roland Martin added: “Let’s be clear: Donald Trump is a damn liar. I was one of the first to use the word when I was on @ThisWeekABC. Everyone danced around this. @realDonaldTrump knows nothing else but lying. #TrumpLiesMatter.”

Ana Navarro, a fixture at The View, didn’t mince her words when sounding off on the report.

“I don’t know how anyone can read Mueller Report and conclude Trump did not attempt time and time again to obstruct justice. Republicans in Congress are going to do just that,” she said. “They will let Trump get away with it. It is up to American voters to hold him accountable. Vote him out!”

As for Trump, he spent most of Thursday firing back at his critics, writing in one tweet: “I had the right to end the whole Witch Hunt if I wanted. I could have fired everyone, including Mueller, if I wanted. I chose not to. I had the RIGHT to use Executive Privilege. I didn’t!”

Attorney General William Barr also backed the president, stating during a Thursday news conference that he disagreed with “some of the Special Counsel’s legal theories” regarding obstruction.
