Jordan Peele’s Us reeled in more moviegoers, scaring up an estimated $33.6 million at the box office in its second weekend of release.

That was enough for a second place finish, and brought the horror thriller’s domestic total to $128.2 million, pushing it past the important $100 million dollar mark, according to Comscore. The Universal Pictures release, which topped the box office last weekend with $71 million, fell a respectable 53 percent from its record opening.

Landing in the top spot this weekend with $45 million was Dumbo, Disney’s live-action remake of its animated 1941 classic.

While it wasn’t a disastrous debut for the family flick, it wasn’t exactly anything to brag about, considering the film cost a reported $170 million to produce.

Analysts predicted the Tim Burton-directed fantasy would open with at least $50 million domestically, but it failed to fly that high, despite having an all-star cast that included Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Alan Arkin, Michael Keaton, Joseph Gatt, Finley Hobbins and Nico Parker.

Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson took third place with $20.5 million in its fourth weekend.

Lionsgate’s young adult romantic drama, Five Feet Apart, earned $6.25 million for a fourth place finish, and controversial anti-abortion drama, Unplanned, rounded out the top five with a solid $6.1 million debut

Landing way out of the top five was Matthew McConaughey’s stoner comedy, The Beach Bum, which made a disastrous debut in 10th place.

The film about a rebellious pothead named Moondog took in just $1.8 million from 1,100 theaters, marking the Oscar winner’s lowest opening for a film in at least 1,000 locations.

The comedy from director Harmony Korine co-stars Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Martin Lawrence, Jimmy Buffett and Zac Efron.
