Raz B has had a change of heart about dropping out of B2K’s Millennium Tour.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old singer posted an Instagram story saying he was quitting over personal safety concerns.
Raz B, whose real name is De’Mario Monte Thornton, told his followers he wanted out after learning the group’s former manager, Chris Stokes, would be involved in the tour.
“Raz B is officially off the tour. I don’t feel safe because I feel like Chris Stokes is around. So guess what? I’m off the tour. Good luck to everybody,” he said. “No disrespect to Omari because he’s my brother. Omari if you want to come talk to me and you want me to do this tour, I’ll do the tour, but I’m officially off the tour.”
In 2007, the singer accused Stokes of sexually abusing him when he was a child. Stokes has denied the allegations.
In his Instagram post, Raz B tagged Lifetime, saying: “Guest what. I guess we’re about to shoot Surviving Chris Stokes, he said in reference to the cable network’s six-part Surviving R. Kelly docuseries detailing sexual abuse allegations against the I Believe I Can Fly singer. Raz B added, “I’m ready to talk.”
He deleted his post after it was captured by several media outlets, including The Shade Room.

He took to Instagram later, to tell fans he was returning to the tour.
“I am a work in progress. I appreciate the outpouring of love, empathy, and understanding from my supporters,” he wrote. “I look forward to continuing The Millennium Tour for our fans. You all deserve it!”
B2K also posted a video on Instagram saying the matter was handled privately and “we’re good.”
The group announced in December they were planning a reunion tour.
B2K, which stands for “Boys of the new Millennium,” was formed in Los Angeles in 1998.
The group released their self-titled debut album in 2002, which included the hits Uh Huh and Gots Ta Be.
The boy band’s other hits include Bump, Bump, Bump (Featuring P. Diddy) and Badaboom.
B2K disbanded in 2004. The group members went on to launch solo careers with Omarion releasing a string of hits, including Ice Box, Speedin’ and Post to Be.
In addition to B2K’s four original members — Raz B, Omarion, Boog (formerly J-Boog) and Fizz (formerly Lil’ Fizz) — special guests Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Bobby V, the Ying Yang Twins and Chingy are also taking part in the tour, which kicked off this month.
