Despite media reports that Bravo has greenlit a reality series about lifestyle guru B. Smith, her husband Dan Gasby and his girlfriend Alex Lerner, it’s not happening.

“This is definitely not greenlit at Bravo,” the individual said when asked to comment on reports the network would air the series.

On Wednesday, Media Take Out posted an article saying former Real Housewives of Atlanta producer Carlos King had signed a production deal with Gasby and Lerner. The article claimed “an extremely reliable insider” said King was prepping a reality show featuring the controversial pair and B. Smith, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2013. The story went on to claim Bravo had greenlit the project.

King denied the report, telling theJasmineBRAND: “I normally don’t address rumors but felt the need to put this to rest. I am not producing a reality show with B. Smith’s husband, Dan Gasby and his girlfriend.”

King added that the rumors started when he attended a taping of The View and sat in the audience next to Lerner.

When the reports began to gain momentum, Smith’s fans were furious and voiced their concerns on social media. Already angered by Gasby’s social media posts showing Smith and his new girlfriend spending time together, fans feared former model and television host Smith would be disrespected again, this time on national television.

Gasby made headlines last month when he and Lerner sat down for an interview with The Washington Post, and revealed his blonde girlfriend has a bedroom in the Smith-Gasby home.

Gasby told The Post in the Jan. 28 article that he believes in the sanctity of marriage, but caring for his ailing wife has taken a toll. He added that because of her illness, the woman he married 26 years ago is “not there.”
