Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough Joining ‘America’s Got Talent’

America’s Got Talent is getting two new judges and a new permanent host for its upcoming 14th season.

Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough will join executive producer Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel at the judges table, replacing Mel B and Heidi Klum, NBC announced Monday.

Terry Crews, who hosts  the spinoff America’s Got Talent: The Champions, will take over as AGT host from Tyra Banks. Crews also has a role on the NBC comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Shortly after the network announced the changes to AGT, Hough took to Twitter to share the news with her followers.

“It’s officially official, I could not be more excited to announce I will be a judge on the upcoming season of @agt!!” she tweeted, along with an image of the show’s new judging panel. “The talent on this show is absolutely outstanding, and I have no doubt this next season is going to WOW.”

Hough, a professional dancer, won two Mirrorball trophies on Dancing with the Stars and also served as a judge on the ABC series. In addition to dancing, she had acting roles in Grease: Live as well as the films Rock of Ages and the Footloose remake.

Union, an actress, author and producer, is currently executive producing and co-starring in the Bad Boys spinoff L.A.’s Finest alongside Jessica Alba. The series premieres in May on Charter’s Spectrum Cable network. Union previously starred on BET’s Being Mary Jane. Her film credits include Breaking In, The Birth of a Nation and Think Like a Man Too, just to name a few.

Simon Cowell co-created America’s Got Talent and produces the series with Fremantle and Syco Entertainment.
