Tiffany Haddish has the support of her Hollywood friends.

Following Haddish’s unsuccessful stand-up show at the James L. Knight Center in Miami on New Year’s Eve, countless celebrities took to Twitter to share messages of support.

Actor Damon Wayans Jr., for instance, argued that failure is common for any comic.

“Cameras blow everything out of proportion,” he wrote on Twitter. “Having a bad set is part of being a comic. You’re dope :).”

The musician Questlove sent a similar message, tweeting: “Failure is a part of growth and lessons get learned. The crowd will speak on this night forever so they had an experience, and you are the wiser. Not end of world. You’ll shine more in 2019.”

Kathy Griffin, who has experienced her fair share of ups and downs, pointed out: “This is the price of fame when you’re a comic. I was so lucky that there wasn’t a Snapchat/IG when I was starting out on my first big tour. No REAL comic never bombs.”

She continued: “You are a hilarious, incredible talent @TiffanyHaddish and I can’t wait to see you live! Ignore the haters!”

Actor and comedian D.L. Hughley sent an inspirational message, writing: “If you’ve never fallen, you’ve never climbed!”

As for Tiffany Haddish, she says she’s looking forward to a better 2019.

“Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami,” the Night School actress tweeted New Year’s Day. “I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happen again.”
