Terrence Howard and his ex-wife Mira Pak are giving their relationship another try.

Three years after the pair finalized their divorce in July 2015, Howard proposed to Pak on Christmas day. The Empire star took to Instagram to share photos of the engagement ring, and he posted a video of himself dedicating a toast to the former model.

“We have an idea of how long we think life is, but we do know how short it can be,” Howard said while holding a cocktail.

“It took me 45 years to find you, honey. It took me 45 years to find you. But now that I have you in my 50th year, I will spend the rest of eternity at your side,” he added. “And I pray that everybody finds that one that will complete them for all eternity because it means everything. I love you.”

Pak, who donned a pink gown for the occasion, replied: “I love you, too, baby.”

Howard and Pak first got married in October 2013, later divorcing due to “irreconcilable differences.”

The California native filed for divorce while she was pregnant with the couple’s first child, Quirin, who was born in May 2015.

The two then welcomed their second child, Hero, in July 2016.

News of Pak and Howard’s reconciliation first surfaced in September, with a source telling Us Weekly:  “They’re tighter than ever. They’re happy. They are living in Chicago. The show [Empire] is going well, and they have two beautiful little boys.”

Pak is the actor’s third wife.
