Janet Jackson will kick off the new year on a career-high.

It was announced Thursday morning that Jackson is among the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2019 inductees, an honor she earned with the help of fans. Supporters were given the opportunity to visit RockHall.com to cast their votes for their favorite artist out of 15 nominees, five of which were selected for further consideration.

Jackson — along with fellow musicians the Cure, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and the Zombies — made the final list of inductees.

The 52-year-old singer acknowledged her supportive fans via Twitter, writing: “We did it u guys. Thank U for all your love and support.”

Jackson also paid homage to her famous brothers in a statement, saying: “I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.”

Michael Jackson was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, while the Jackson 5 snagged the honor in 1997.

The 2019 induction ceremony will be held on Friday, March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and broadcast on HBO and SiriusXM.
