A production assistant on Power was struck and killed by a vehicle during a shoot on Monday in New York City, prompting the Starz series to temporarily halt filming.

Pedro Jimenez, 63, was setting up traffic cones for a shoot in Brooklyn around 4:20 a.m. when he was hit by a Ford Explorer, according to The Associated Press. Jimenez was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 64-year-old driver remained at the scene after the incident and no arrests were made, authorities said.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family,” Starz said in a statement to the media. “Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’ family as we work to fully understand what has happened.”
