The Game has a theory about what sparked the deadly Woolsey fire burning in Southern California.

The hip-hop star, who lives near the fire, recently took to Instagram to allege someone may have deliberately started the fire to divert attention away from the tragic bar shooting last week in nearby Thousand Oaks, Calif.

“Power out, barely any phone service, neighbors gone (my good white people be outta there boy) fuc–in phone on 8% & this shit headed straight for us,” he captioned a video of smoke rising above the hills behind his home.

The rapper then alleged that someone started the blaze to shift attention away from the mass shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, where a gunman killed 12 people last Wednesday night.

The fire started the following day.

“I can’t abandon the fort tho !!!! Gotta hold it down #RNS [BUT AYE, YOU KNOW I’M SMART & ALWAYS LOOK AT THE ENTIRE PICTURE…. LOWKEY GOT A FEELING THIS FIRE WAS STARTED BY SOMEONE OR SOMEONE(S) TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THE MASS SHOOTING IN THOUSAND OAKS 2 DAYS AGO],” he wrote, along with the hashtag #STAYWOKE.

Despite claims by the rapper, authorities say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Since the blaze started on Nov. 8,  it has claimed three lives, according to published reports.

By Nov. 14, the flames had consumed 98,362 acres and destroyed 504 buildings, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE).
