Ex-CNN Contributor Jason Miller Files Lawsuit Over ‘Abortion Pill’ Story

Ex-CNN contributor Jason Miller has filed a $100 million defamation suit against Gizmodo Media Group, the parent company of website Splinter News.

In September,  Splinter News published court documents alleging the conservative commentator impregnated an unnamed woman, then secretly spiked her smoothie with an abortion pill.

Miller, who served as a communications adviser for the Trump campaign, resigned from CNN shortly after the court documents went public.

The original documents were filed by A.J. Delgado, another former Trump campaign staffer, with whom he fathered a child during an extramarital affair.

Now the political pundit is taking legal action against Gizmodo, Splinter News, and the site’s managing editor, Katherine Krueger.

Miller also named Delgado in the lawsuit that was filed in Florida federal court Monday, claiming she fabricated the abortion pill allegations to destroy his life, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The sad reality is that the Defendants could not care less about the truth of the accusations they published to millions of readers,” Miller’s attorney, Shane Vogt, wrote in the complaint.

“Miller was labeled a ‘murderer,’ he lost his job on CNN, he is being harassed and threatened online, he and his family are being shunned in their community, and his personal, professional and family life have been permanently scarred — all without a shred of proof or corroborating evidence,” the lawsuit said.

Gizmodo stands by its original story, stating: “We have not yet been served with the complaint, and will respond more fully when we have had a chance to review it. GMG stands by its reporting and its reporter.”

Miller, a George Washington University alum, has consistently denied Delgado’s claims, tweeting on Sept. 22: “To be clear, none of this is in any way true. That doesn’t matter however in the current court of public opinion, where fraudulent statements and a lack of factual support rule the day as long as it fits into a tweet.”

Delgado’s court documents allege, however, that Miller impregnated a woman he met at an Orlando strip club and then secretly spiked her smoothie with an abortion pill.

The unborn child died and the woman nearly lost her life, according to the legal documents.

“Jane Doe herself was hospitalized for two days, the abortion pill possibly reacting with potential street drugs in her system at the time she drank the Smoothie,” the documents state.

The legal filing further alleges that “Mr. Miller then, in a panic, attempted to have Jane Doe sign a non-disclosure agreement (“NDA”), presumably in exchange for a sum of money.”

Miller has not spoken out publicly since his resignation from CNN.
