Nick Cannon Set to Launch New Late Night Show on Fox

Nick Cannon is ready to try his hand at late-night TV.

The actor and producer has signed a deal to host and co-executive produce a weekly late-night show on Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Described as a “topical late night series,” the untitled program will include a mix of comedy, musical performances and celebrity interviews.

Cannon is teaming up with The Talking Dead executive producer Michael Davies to bring the show to television. Michael Goldman, Cannon’s longtime manager, will also serve as an executive producer.

The multi-hyphenate turned 37 years old on Oct. 8, and took to Instagram to let fans know he was celebrating his birthday and his new show.

“I guess Happy Birthday to me!! Look at God!!!! LOL Time to take this game to the next level!!!” he posted along with a picture of an article about his new show.

Cannon’s past hosting duties include America’s Got Talent, the Teen Choice Awards and Wild ‘N Out.

He’s also had acting roles in the films Chi-Raq, Drumline, Bobby and Underclassman.
