Kanye West has an invitation to sit down this Thursday with President Donald Trump.

“Kanye West is coming to the White House to have lunch with President Trump and he will also meet with Jared Kushner,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed to reporters Tuesday morning.

“Topics of discussions will include manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence, and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago,” she said.

The New York Times first published details about the meeting. News of West’s upcoming visit to Washington comes on the heels of his controversial Saturday Night Live appearance last  month and his questionable tweets about the 13th amendment, which abolished slavery.

Following the rapper’s performance on SNL, he launched into a pro-Trump rant — while wearing a MAGA hat — and shared his thoughts about race in America.

“So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’” West said. “Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”

The 41-year-old entertainer later tweeted about abolishing the 13 amendment, arguing: “The 13th Amendment is slavery in disguise meaning it never ended.”

West’s comments drew widespread criticism, and he has since deleted all of his social media accounts.

This isn’t the first time the Jesus Walks singer has met with Trump. The two sat down for a meeting at Trump Tower in December 2016, shortly after Trump was elected president of the United States.

West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, also met with Trump in May 2018 to help free Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who spent 21 years in federal prison for a nonviolent drug conviction.

Although Trump has yet to comment on the upcoming meeting with West, he once referred to the dad-of-three as a “good man.”
