Kanye West has some career advice for LeBron James.

Just a few days after West’s bizarre performance on Saturday Night Live, the rapper visited TMZ Monday to share his thoughts about why James shouldn’t have left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The topic came up during a discussion with TMZ founder Harvey Levin about “healing” cities in need, with West arguing that the NBA star could do more good based in his old stomping grounds of Cleveland.

“I’mma just, it’s not my place … but just to make it Ye — I feel like LeBron really needs to be in Cleveland,” the All Mine rapper explained. “It ain’t my place, I’m sorry Mav[erick Carter] & Lebron for saying, I know I’m speaking out of place, but I feel like LeBron needs to be in Cleveland. Ye needs to be in Chicago…”

What West failed to mention is how much James has already invested in his home state of Ohio. The NBA superstar opened the “I Promise” school in July, an Akron-based institute that serves 240 at-risk third-and fourth-graders.

James donated millions to the project for students to receive free tuition, school meals, and guaranteed tuition to the University of Akron, to name a few measures.

Additionally, the 33-year-old activist ensured parents of students will receive “access to job placement services and help acquiring their GEDs.”

West, on the other hand, was called out by rapper RhymeFest in May for the supposed abandonment of his Chicago-based charity formerly known as Donda’s House.

The organization, originally named after the entertainer’s late mother, Donda West, aims to provide “resources and education in the arts, culture, and entertainment industries for Chicago’s youth.”

Rhymefest claims the entertainer said “f—k the youth of Chicago” when asked to provide financial backing for a renovation project. The team planned to convert Donda’s former home into a community arts center, an endeavor that hit the skids due to lack of funding.

West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, denied all of the claims, writing on Twitter: “U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @RHYMEFEST … Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation.”

Donda’s House changed its name to Art of Culture, Inc. in June.
