Rapper Mac Miller Dies of Suspected Overdose at 26

Rapper Mac Miller has died from a suspected drug overdose at age 26, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

Miller was found at his home in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to the Times. Sources told the paper he was unresponsive when paramedics arrived at the residence.

The Pittsburgh rapper, producer and singer, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, had been open in the past about his struggles with substance abuse.

Last month he was charged with DUI after a May hit-and-run crash in L.A., according to published reports. The accident happened shortly after Miller and Ariana Grande broke up after two years of dating.

Miller was best known for the singles Self Care, Dang! and Programs.
