If you’ve been waiting for T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle to return, well, you can stop.
That’s because the reality series is “on ice until further notice,” according to rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris, who starred on the popular VH1 show with wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and their six children.
T.I. made the statement Monday night on Instagram, and included a screen grab of a story from pop culture blog, The Jasmine BRAND, saying T.I. and Tiny were “reviving their show.”
After reading the report, T.I. said hold up.
“To whom it may concern… if it ain’t come from me or @majorgirl it ain’t real. Family Hustle On Ice until further notice. Thx,” T.I. told his Instagram followers.
Family Hustle premiered in 2011, and ran for six seasons up until 2017.
In March 2017, People magazine quoted a VH1 executive as saying the series was ending after six seasons and 100 episodes.
“VH1 is incredibly proud of this long running series and our partnership with Tip and Tameka,” Nina L. Diaz, executive vice president and head of unscripted at VH1 and MTV, said in a statement at the time. “Reaching 100 episodes is a milestone and we couldn’t be more excited to bring viewers the highly anticipated final season.”
