Uncle Drew (Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment)

Uncle Drew and Sicario: Day of the Soldado both performed better at the weekend box office than analysts expected, but neither newcomer had the muscle to beat Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The dinosaur sequel took in an estimated $60 million this weekend in North America, bringing its two-week total to $264 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.

Incredibles 2 came in second place with $45.5 million in its third weekend of release.
