‘Marlon’ Season 2 Premiere Suffers Big Ratings Setback

The second season of Marlon premiered Thursday night and the ratings were not good.

The Marlon Wayans-led comedy saw its ratings drop 42 percent from the season 1 premiere, according to The Wrap.

The NBC series aired back-to-back episodes last night at 9 p.m., with the first show bringing in 3 million viewers. The second episode at 9:30 drew 2.4 million viewers.

Last night’s episode was preceded by Little Big Shots, which was seen by 5.65 million viewers.

The season 1 premiere of Marlon drew 5.3 million viewers, and aired after the popular America’s Got Talent.

Meanwhile over on Fox last night, The Four: Battle for Stardom averaged 2.16 million viewers from 8-10 p.m.

ABC and CBS aired repeats.
