Meghan Markle joined Queen Elizabeth II for their first official royal outing together on Thursday in Cheshire, England.

The new Duchess of Sussex and the monarch arrived in the town via royal train.

The former Suits actress, 36, wore a light beige pencil dress with a cape feature at the shoulders. She paired it with a black belt and matching black pumps.

The dress from Givenchy, the same fashion house that designed Meghan’s wedding gown, the BBC reported.

The queen, 92, wore a lime green Stewart Parvin coat over a floral dress, with a matching green hat.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs, greeted Meghan by saying: “Welcome to Cheshire. I understand this is your first visit to northern England.”

The Los Angeles native replied, “That’s right. Yes.”

Meghan and the queen were photographed giggling and whispering while watching a children’s performance at the opening of a bridge.

According to the BBC, Meghan “seemed like a natural in her new royal role and looked genuinely happy as she stopped to chat and shake hands with those assembled.”

Meghan married the queen’s grandson, Prince Harry, in a star-studded ceremony on May 19.
